For the 2006-2007 financial year, the Legal Aid Commission of Tasmania:

• provided 6,759 grants of legal aid;
• gave 7,022 people legal advice in clinic sessions;
• gave 4,813 people assistance through our duty solicitor service;
• gave 25,157 people telephone legal advice;
• conducted 339 FDR conferences;
• presented 139 community legal education workshops and seminars.
