Baptcare is a not-for-profit organisation based in Victoria and Tasmania, Australia. In Tasmania, Baptcare Gateway connects families with vulnerable children, young people and people with a disability to specialist family and disability support services within their community.

The Targeted Youth Support Service (TYSS) works with young people aged 10 to 18 years who are identified as having significant and/or multiple risk issues including risk of homelessness or are homeless. The service aims to re-engage young people in education, training, employment and housing.

CHANGING ABUSIVE BEHAVIOURS

CHILD & ADOLESCENT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE (CAMHS) NORTH

CAMHS is available to young people who require assistance in managing emotional, social and behavioural difficulties. Can assist with depression, anxiety, self harm, eating disorders, compulsive behaviours, fears and phobias, hallucination and delusional thinking, sleeping problems and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

This is a free, voluntary and confidential service for young people under 18.

COURT SUPPORT & LIAISON SERVICE

Free service for adult & child victims of family violence through the Safe at Home program. Court Support Officers are available to provide support to adult and child victims of family violence, inlcuding referral to appropriate counselling and other services and guide them through the justice system during and after court appearances. Also independantly prepares children and young people to give evidence in court and to help minimise the trauma for a child in an adult legal system.

Provide assistance with how to take out a Family Violence Order.
