CHILD & ADOLESCENT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE (CAMHS) NORTH

CAMHS is available to young people who require assistance in managing emotional, social and behavioural difficulties. Can assist with depression, anxiety, self harm, eating disorders, compulsive behaviours, fears and phobias, hallucination and delusional thinking, sleeping problems and Autism Spectrum Disorders. CLARE HOUSE

Clare House is a specialist mental health service for children and young people up to the age of 18yrs and their families. Clare House provides support to children and young people who are displaying symptoms of psychiatric disorder or severe emotional and behavioural disturbance. All referrals to Clare House should be made through the Mental Health Services Helpline which is a 24/7 service. |

COURT SUPPORT & LIAISON SERVICE
|
Free service for adult & child victims of family violence through the Safe at Home program. Court Support Officers are available to provide support to adult and child victims of family violence, inlcuding referral to appropriate counselling and other services and guide them through the justice system during and after court appearances. Also independantly prepares children and young people to give evidence in court and to help minimise the trauma for a child in an adult legal system. Provide assistance with how to take out a Family Violence Order. Also has an Aboriginal Court Support Officer |
