The Integrity Commission is an independent body established on 1st October 2010 by the Integrity Commission Act 2009.

The Integrity Commission works to improve the standard of conduct, propriety and ethics in Tasmania’s public sector.

The 3 primary objectives of the Integrity Commission are to:

  • improve the standard of conduct, propriety and ethics in public authorities in Tasmania;
  • enhance public confidence that misconduct by public officers will be appropriately investigated and dealt with;
  • enhance the quality of and commitment to, ethical conduct by adopting strong, educative, preventative and advisory role.

Office hours are Monday – Friday, 9am to 4.30pm.
