On Tuesday 20 December, Tasmania Legal Aid (TLA) shut down its IT systems in response to a report of unusual network activity.

TLA and its external service providers have carried out a thorough investigation in relation to that activity and have determined that its networks have not been breached.

There is no evidence that TLA confidential information has been accessed or compromised.

TLA has commenced the process of bringing its networks back online for the commencement of business on Thursday 22 December 2022.

TLA apologises for any inconvenience caused while we undertake these protective measures.
