The EDO is a non profit community legal centre, advising on environmental and planning law.  They provide expert information and advice to individuals and groups throughout Tasmania. They assist with a range of environmental and planning matters, including forestry, development activities, coastal protection, water management, marine farming, mining, climate change adaptation and the protection of cultural heritage.

Open Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.

The needle and syringe program (NSP) operates from a variety of sites around Tasmania, hospitals, community health centres, pharmacies as well as dedicated sites that have been established and funded for the specific purpose of ensuring the availability of equipment and services to injecting drug users.

Provision of free sterile injecting equipment, brief interventions and disposal of used equipment from outlets located in Hobart, Glenorchy, Rosny, Bridgewater, Burnie, Devonport and Launceston. NSP vending machines available in Hobart, Bridgewater, Launceston and Devonport.
