The Community Forensic Mental Health Service is a confidential statewide service that assists people who have a mental health issue and/or intellectual disability who are:
- involved with the criminal justice system, or
- assessed as high risk of becoming involved with the criminal justice system as a result of their mental health and associated behaviour.
The service offers mental health assessment, liaison, counselling, support, education, advice and referral to other services.
CFMHS has a Court Liaison Officer who provide assistance people eligible for the service who have to go to Court. Potential clients need to be referred for assessment.
Deaf Australia is the national peak advocacy and information organisation in Australia for deaf people who are bilingual (using both English and Auslan).
They advise government, industry and service providers about the needs and views of deaf people and work to improve deaf people’s access in a range of areas.
The Helpline is available for people with dementia, their carers, families and friends, as well as people concerned about memory loss. It is also used by health professionals, service providers, community organisations and students.

The Health Complaints Commissioner (HCC) provides a free and impartial resolution service for complaints about health service providers in Tasmania.
It is an alternative to legal proceedings and neither party requires a lawyer.
HCC assists by clarifying the issues in dispute between the parties and exploring outcomes such as an explanation, apology, system improvement or compensation.
HCC has a number of options available to assist in resolving complaints, including early resolution, investigation and conciliation, but does not have the power to make any judgement, or order, in favour of one party or the other.

Provides care and support for people living with HIV, their families and carers. A Care and Support Officer works with individuals to identify specific needs. Also engages people living with HIV to promote peer support and interaction.
