Not for Profit Law is a specialist legal service for community organisations and is a program of Justice Connect.
They provide free or low cost, practical legal help for not for profit community organisations and advocates for improved standards and legal frameworks.

Provides quality independent Trustee services to the Tasmanian community including Will, enduring power of attorney and enduring guardian preparation; deceased estate and trust administration; and assisting people to manage their financial affairs.

The Burnie office of the Women’s Legal Service is a specialist family violence unit. If you are located in North West Tasmania, experiencing or have experienced family violence, contact the Burnie office directly for legal assistance or information.

Provides assistance to women with particular emphasis on women’s legal issues. Free and confidential legal advice and referral. Telephone calls to the Service are free from anywhere in Tasmania and will not show up on telephone bills.
Provides telephone advice on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays between 10 a.m. – 12.30 p.m; 1.30 p.m. – 3.30 p.m. and also Wednesdays between 2.00 p.m. – 4.00 p.m.
