The Tasmanian Refugee Legal Service is a not for profit refugee legal service. The primary purpose of the Tasmanian Refugee Legal Service is to relieve the necessitous circumstances of people of refugee background, humanitarian entrants and people seeking asylum who reside in Tasmania through the provision of free and confidential legal services.
The Multicultural Council of Tasmania is the statewide peak community organisation representing people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
The TTMHN advocates for the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse communities by strengthening the cultural competency and cultural responsiveness of the mental health workforce in Tasmania.
The TTMHN aims to support the mental health workforce to ensure that culturally and linguistically diverse individuals, families and communities are planned for within service delivery.
The TTMNH is funded by the Tasmanian Government Department of Health and Human Services and the network is hosted by the Phoenix Centre, a program of the Migrant Resource Centre (Southern Tasmania).
Migrant Resource Centre Tasmania services include support for older people and specialised settlement services, including youth work, health and wellbeing services, community development, migration support, and assistance with employment.
