Victims Support Services is part of the Department of Justice, the unit is dedicated to victims of crime.
They are responsible for:
- The administration of the Eligible Persons Register (previously known as the Victims Register) and the provision of information to victims from that Register
- Liaison between the victim and other divisions of the Department of Justice
- Operation and management of the Victims of Crime Service
- Provision of information to victims regarding court processes
- The provision of Court Support and Liaison Service for victims of family violence (as part of the ‘Safe at Home’ project)
- Co-ordination of Victim/Offender mediation in a limited number of appropriate cases
- Administration of Victims of Crime Assistance (financial assistance for victims of crime) and the provision of assistance to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Commissioners.

Enterprise Centres Tasmania is a statewide network of business advisors funded by the Tasmanian government
The service provides up to five hours of free and confidential business information, guidance and support services to existing and intending small business owners Business advisors are members of the community with expertise in small business, can assist with a wide range of business issues and refer clients to other sources of business support.

Save the Children programs build better outcomes for children and their families in vulnerable communities.

The functions of the Dental Board of Australia include registering dentists, students, dental specialists, dental therapists, dental hygienists, oral health therapists and dental prosthesists; developing standards, codes and guidelines for the dental profession; handling notifications, complaints, investigations and disciplinary hearings; assessing oversees trained practitioners who wish to practise in Australia and approving accredititaiton standards and accredited course of study

Mineral Resources Tasmania (MRT) is a Division of the Department of State Growth. The purpose of MRT is to give effect to government policy in relation to minerals and petroleum resources, and the Division provides essential information for land management in Tasmania.

The Tasmanian Inspectorate comprises six dedicated staff.

The statewide Prosecutor is based in Launceston, the prosecutor represents the RSPCA in Court, when people suspected of breaching the legislation are summoned.

Advocacy Tasmania provide a free statewide, independent and confidential advocacy service. This service is for people with mental health disorder, as well as their relatives and carers. Advocates can assist people to exercise their rights and responsibilities.
They support adolescents and adults who are:
- in hospital
- in the community
- in correctional facilities
- in rural and remote areas
They support people to exercise their rights to:
- be safe from harm including abuse, neglect and suicide
- shelter
- freedom and liberty
- fundamental health and wellbeing

Responsible for the collection and enforcement of Court fines, fines imposed by traffic infringement notices and enforcement of certain monetary penalties imposed by the Magistrates Court and Supreme Court.

The Integrity Commission is an independent authority tasked with investigating and preventing public sector misconduct. It was established in 2010 by the Integrity Commission Act 2009 (Tas).
The Commission’s office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 4:30pm.

This is a one-day, court based program designed to provide offenders with information and skills to develop positive attitudes towards driving and encourage safer driving behaviour, delivered by DAP Education Australia Pty Ltd. At the completion of the program all participants receive a certificate and a court assessment can be provided. The program is delivered at various locations around Australia.

Disability Voices Tasmania is funded by the Department of Communities Tasmania and endeavours to help people with disability work together on issues that affect their rights, and help them with training and/or resources to develop their skills and experience to have more choices in, and control over, their lives and contribute to their community.

Strong Families, Safe Kids Advice & Referral Line is the first point of contact for child wellbeing and safety.
With a coordinated network of government and non-government support – and your help – we can deliver earlier intervention and better outcomes for at-risk children and their families.

The classification board makes classification decisions for films, computer games and certain publications.
Also classifies material submitted from State and Federal Police within Australia, Australian Customs and Border Protection Service and the Australian Communications and Media Authority.
The board does not classify programs broadcast for TV, live performances and audio CDs.

The Community Forensic Mental Health Service is a confidential statewide service that assists people who have a mental health issue and/or intellectual disability who are:
- involved with the criminal justice system, or
- assessed as high risk of becoming involved with the criminal justice system as a result of their mental health and associated behaviour.
The service offers mental health assessment, liaison, counselling, support, education, advice and referral to other services.
CFMHS has a Court Liaison Officer who provide assistance people eligible for the service who have to go to Court. Potential clients need to be referred for assessment.

Information and support, education and training, counselling and peer support for carers of people with a disability, frail, aged or with chronic illness.

Provides support, advocacy, information, assistance and referrals for victims of crime. Supports people with the personal and practical problems associated with the impact of crime, to allow them to regain control of their lives.
Also provides support for people attending court, assistance with Victim Impact Statements and Victims of Crime Assistance applications.

Information and support, education and training, counselling and peer support for carers of people with a disability, frail, aged or with chronic illness.

Free service for adult & child victims of family violence through the Safe at Home program. Court Support Officers are available to provide support to adult and child victims of family violence, including referral to appropriate counselling and other services and guide them through the justice system during and after court appearances.

The Supreme Court is the highest court in Tasmania and includes the trial division, Full Court and Court of Appeal.
