The Tasmanian Elder Abuse Helpline is a service operated by Advocacy Tasmania Inc. on behalf on the Tasmanian Government. It assists older people, families, service providers and the wider community to respond to elder abuse and better access existing supports and services. It is a free, confidential and statewide service.
Operates Monday to Friday, 9am – 4pm.
Provides information, support and advocacy to all people with spinal injuries and their families. Has a comprehensive database of Australia wide physically accessible accommodation and venues. Also has a Spinal Awareness Program educating school children on prevention of injury.

Product safety comes under the responsibility of the Measurement and Standards Branch within Consumer Affairs and Fair Trading. The Measurements and Standards Branches role in product safety is to ensure consumer products are as safe as possible with the aim of reducing product related injuries to Tasmanians.
An independant statutory responsible for receiving and investigating complaints about the conduct of lawyers in Tasmania. Complaints must be lodged in writing. There is no fee for lodging a complaint.
The Sexual Assault Support Service (SASS) provides a 24 hour a day support and information service regarding available choices to victims of recent rape or sexual assault, their family and support people including whether and how to:
- report the crime to Police
- Have a Forensic Medical Examination, medical check up or access emergency contraception
- Access ongoing counselling and support
National Welfare Rights Network (NWRN) is the peak community organisation in the area of social security law, policy and administration. Their aim is to reduce poverty, hardship and inequality in Australia by advocating for a social security system which is fair, adequate and well administered.
Their members are community legal centres and organisations whose role is to provide disadvantaged people with free information, advice, education and representation in the areas of social security and family assistance. Their services are free and independent.

A service provided by the Department of Health & Human Services, for people who have been involved in a family violence incident and have been issued with a Police Family Violence Order.
They can provide information and advice about what a Police Family Violence Order means, how to prevent breaches and provide referrals to appropriate services.
TACLS provides free legal assistance, including information, advice, referrals and case work assistance for all Aboriginal peoples across Tasmania.
TACLS can assist in family, criminal and civil law matters.
TACLS is a non-government Aboriginal community law firm run by and for Aboriginal people.
