Tasmania Legal Aid Strategic Plan 2020-2023

The Strategic Plan heralds a new era for our organisation. It sets an exciting course over the next three years, strengthening our engagement with our community, and our collaboration with our partners and key stakeholders. 

As we approach our 30 year anniversary, it’s the right time to refresh our brand and refocus the ways we serve the Tasmanian community. Our new logo makes a clear and simple statement of who we are and what we do: provide legal aid for Tasmanians.

The Strategic Plan benefitted from the input of our stakeholders and we thank all those who contributed to its development.

Our Vision is for Tasmania to be a place where: All Tasmanians are safe, respected and have their voices heard. Through the Strategic Plan we commit to contributing to achieving this vision.

Our priority areas over the next three years areas are: Community, Communication and Collaboration.  We aim to make our services more accessible for Tasmanians across the State, especially those who are vulnerable and marginalised. We will continue to work with our partners to improve the legal system.

Our improved service response will have a particular focus on supporting children, people experiencing family violence, and building the well-being and resilience of our clients and staff.
