Applying for aid on behalf of a client

Lawyers apply for legal aid on behalf of their client. All applications are online and legal firms who do legal aid work need to be registered for electronic lodgement.

Civil disbursement fund

Tasmanians are able to access financial aid for civil cases under the Civil Disbursement Fund scheme being run by Tasmania Legal Aid, where they have a private lawyer acting for them.
