TLA’s new Senior Assist information booklet

Tasmania Legal Aid’s Senior Assist have released a comprehensive new booklet to help Tasmania’s seniors navigate the state’s legal system.

‘Everyone deserves respect’ covers all manner of legal topics relevant to older Tasmanians who might encounter new questions and concerns unique to their age demographic.

It’s part of new suite of documents from TLA’s Senior Assist, a team of lawyers and case managers providing free legal advice, assistance and support to seniors who are experiencing elder abuse.

The new materials are aimed to help provide seniors with information and planning to prevent elder abuse, retirement and financial planning. Other topics include Enduring Power of Attorney, wills and “voluntary assisted dying”.
